An integral part of the Osborne Village Hotel redevelopment, two new multi-family apartment buildings will replace parking lots currently situated behind the hotel. Built over an underground parkade, each building will house 22 rental suites on three floors, with an assortment of amenities at street level. To maximize density and cater to the neighbourhood’s existing demographic, all floor plans are based on affordable micro-suite concepts. Boasting large storefront glass, the street level spaces will encourage prospective tenants to operate small, unique businesses in a prime location. These areas could also serve as amenity spaces supporting the hotel. The residential units’ façade contributes to the pedestrian scale nature of the neighbourhood. The choice of building materials reflects the eclectic mix of new and historic buildings currently colouring the Village.
